Dr. Lee holds appointments as Professor-in-Residence in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM), and the Department of Epidemiology at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. He serves as Faculty Director of Research and Evaluation in the Division of Population Behavioral Health at the Jane and Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, where he oversees the evaluation of programs to reduce the burden of mental-health disease through the integration of accessible, evidence-based behavioral health education, prevention, and treatment. Dr. Lee directs the Methods Core of the AIDS Research Center called Center for HIV Identification Prevention and Treatment Services (CHIPTS). For his commitment to mentorship, Dr. Lee serves as the UCLA PI for the University of California Global Health Institute (UCGHI) GloCal Training Program. At DGSOM, he serves as a Faculty Mentor for the Justice Equity Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Academic Mentoring program. In addition, he is a Co-Lead on the Health Equity and Translational Social Science (HETTS) research theme at DGSOM.
