Oliver Jimenez

Oliver Jimenez currently has served as Parks and Recreation Commissioner for the City of Montebello since February 2019, which oversees the city’s senior citizens and youth/family programs and also serves as an advisory body to the Mayor and City Council. Oliver serves as the elected State Delegate for the California Democrat Party, representing Assembly District 54. He founded a civic youth organization in 2013 called Montebello Youth Leadership Club, which aims to get the youth to give back to their community; he currently serves as the Executive Director. In 2020, he founded the Montebello Community Partners Coalition, which comprises over 15 local and regional organizations with the mission to educate, empower, inform, support, and serve our communities. As a patron of the arts, he also serves on the Executive Board of Casa Cultural Saybrook-Montebello, which is the organization’s mission to provide art opportunities to students and expose them to different cultures. Oliver is a proud son of immigrants; he was born and raised in Boyle Heights. In 2003, he and his family moved to Montebello, where they currently reside. Oliver is a product of the Montebello Unified School District, where he attended Joshp A. Gascon Elementry, La Merced Intermediate, and graduated from Montebello High School Class of 2011.
