Yvette Willock, MSW

Yvette Willock has over 29 years of diverse social work practice. She earned a BA in Psychology from LMU and holds an MSW from USC and an MA in Human and Organizational Systems from the Fielding Graduate University. Upon obtaining her MSW, Ms. Willock joined Kedren Community Mental Health Center as a Psychiatric Social Worker in Adult Day Treatment, where she provided Outpatient and Inpatient Levels of Service to address the needs of children and adults, as well as supervised a team of clinicians. Ms. Willock left Kedren to join Managed Health Network as a Care Manager conducting telephonic assessments of clients and Utilization Management activities with Hospital Providers for Inpatient, Partial Hospitalization, and Intensive Outpatient Levels of Care. Her next career move took her to Sharper Future, the Los Angeles subsidiary of Pacific Forensic Psychology Associates where she worked with the forensic population and implemented a quality assurance program. Ms. Willock joined the LA County Department of Mental Health in 2013, where she worked in the Managed Care Division. In 2018, Ms. Willock was appointed to Discipline Chief of Social Services. Prior to transitioning from DMH in 2023 Ms. Willock facilitated DMH becoming a contracted Enhanced Care Management (ECM) Provider with four Medi-Cal Managed Care Plans, one of the critical elements of the Department of Health Care Services California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM). Ms. Willock currently leads the Systems of Care Division within the LAC Justice, Care and Opportunities Dept (JCOD).
