Christopher Hendrix

Christopher Hendrix serves on UCLA Psychiatry’s HEAR Community Advisory Board (HEAR CAB), contributing youth-informed perspective to strengthen community-centered mental health strategy, equity, and systems accountability. He is a seasoned youth operations and policy professional with cross-sector experience spanning nonprofit leadership, public policy research, and youth advisory work at the local, statewide, and national levels. Christopher brings a public administration lens grounded in lived experience navigating governmental systems, with a focus on translating complex challenges into actionable solutions that improve access, stability, and long-term outcomes for young people and underserved communities. Through his consulting business Hendrix Statecraft Co., Hendrix aims to support government and organizational strategy towards efficient youth service delivery. He is a current Master’s in Social Work candidate at California State University Fullerton, with a concentration in Community Mental Health. In addition, he is acquiring Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist and Community Health Worker credentials, amplifying his range and knowledge of best practices across the behavioral health system. Christopher is also the founder of Youth Capital Alliance, a social initiative aimed at framing young people as capital to be nurtured rather than problems to be managed. For fun, he enjoys fishing, bird watching, and coin collecting.
