Linda Ercoli is a Health Sciences Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the Semel Institute, and the Director of Geriatric Psychology-Neuropsychology . She is a clinical psychologist with a specialty in geriatric psychology and the neuropsychology of aging. Her research background is in neuroimaging and neuropsychology of aging and Alzheimer’s disease; cognitive enhancement interventions for aging and cancer related cognitive impairment, and in developing interventions to improve relationships between caregivers and care recipients. She works and volunteers in community outreach for education about cognitive functioning and behavior management for people who work with vulnerable populations.
