Pritha Gupta is a Cardiologist at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine, and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. She completed a fellowship in cardiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and went on to earn a PhD in molecular, cell and integrative physiology with a focus on cardiovascular genetics at UCLA in 2017. She also received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from UCLA. Since 2017, Dr. Gupta has served as a Board Member at the International Institute of Los Angeles (IILA), an organization that has helped refugees assimilate to life in Los Angeles for almost one hundred years. Dr. Gupta also works as a volunteer Cardiologist at the Venice Family Clinic, where she hopes to expand her practice to bring better healthcare to the underserved.
