Part 1: Cultural and Clinical Factors Affecting Health of BIPOC, Queer and Trans, and Communities with Disabilities

Learning Objectives:
- Describe history and meaning of the terms BIPOC, Queer and Trans, and Disabled.
- List three types of cultural variations among BIPOC, Queer and Trans, and Disability Communities.
- Understand the impact of historical experiences of BIPOC, Queer and Trans, and Disability Communities with the medical community on health outcomes.
- List 3 ways implicit bias can affect the health of BIPOC, Queer and Trans, and Disability Communities.
- Describe four evidence-based individual, programmatic, organizational, advocacy interventions designed to improve clinical outcomes among BIPOC, Queer and Trans, and Disability Communities.
Part 2: Pursuing Racial Equity in Mental Health Care: Laying the Foundation for Organizational Readiness

Learning Objectives:
- Understand existing data that reflects workforce inequity and health disparities in the communities served.
- Utilize data to identify inequity and resultant opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize a standardized tool to raise organizational awareness of staff competencies and organizational operations.
- Describe the ADKAR model of organizational change.
- Apply data analysis, organizational awareness assessment results and the ADKAR model to the development of an organizational action plan towards equity.
